The Rubik's Revenge (also sometimes known as the Master Cube) is the 4×4×4 version of the famous 3x3 Rubik's Cube.
The puzzle is made up of 56 small cubes on the surface. However, unlike the 3x3 puzzle the centre pieces can move in relation to each other, making it even more difficult to solve!!
Please note that a hints booklet is not included in the 4x4x4 package. But don’t worry. If you get stuck or need some help, click here to go to our "Solve It" page for some solving guides and videos.
As of August 2012 the world record time for solving the 4x4x4 Cube is held by Feliks Zemdegs of Australia with a time of 26.75 seconds set at the Australian Nationals 2012. The best average time for 5 solves is 30.81 seconds, held by Sebastian Weyer of Germany, set in Aachen in the summer of 2012.
